Armthorpe Academy Marks Anti-Bullying Week with Acts of Kindness and Unity

Armthorpe Academy has once again demonstrated its commitment to creating a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment as part of this year’s Anti-Bullying Week celebrations.
As a school, we continually promote the importance of respect and communicating with kindness. Our Student Anti-Bullying Ambassadors have recently focused their efforts on the Power for Good theme, leading a series of activities that encouraged positivity and strengthened our sense of community.
Students across the academy took part in Odd Socks Day to celebrate individuality, signed our whole-school Anti-Bullying Charter, and contributed to a dedicated Kindness Board. The board showcased thoughtful messages written by students about their peers—small acts of kindness proudly displayed for all to see.
Reflecting on the week, Amy Moulton, Director of Pastoral Care, said:
“I am so incredibly proud of our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors and all the amazing work they’ve done for Anti-Bullying Week. Their passion, creativity, and commitment to making our school a kinder, more inclusive place have really shone through. It has also been fantastic to see so many of our students getting involved, supporting one another, and standing up for kindness. You’ve all shown what true teamwork and respect look like - well done Armthorpe Academy.”
Armthorpe Academy remains dedicated to fostering a culture where every student feels safe, valued, and respected.
