The Trust has recently been shortlisted for the Innovation Award at the Education Today Awards 2026, and in March 2025, proudly won the Innovative Trust Award at the MATA Awards. These accolades reflect Armthorpe Academy’s commitment to innovation, excellence, and creating outstanding learning environments for its students, including Armthorpe Academy.

The school has also completed a major transformation of its outdoor spaces. Amazon volunteers from Doncaster dedicated five days to installing new paths, picnic benches, and garden areas, alongside a generous £6,500 donation of gardening equipment and educational resources. The upgraded outdoor spaces will provide students with enriching opportunities for hands-on learning, environmental education, and collaborative projects, further enhancing the school’s curriculum.
