Equipment Expectations for the new academic year

We are writing to inform you of our Armthorpe Equipment expectations for the next academic year from September 2024.

In order for students to be fully prepared for learning, we have developed a list of essential and desirable equipment that we would expect that they bring to school.   Please see the list below:

Essential

Desirable

Black Pen

School Bag (Most desirable)- Reasonable size to fit in all equipment including PE kit on PE days and weekly

homework

Green Pen (for improvement work)

Pencil Case

Pencil

Rubber

Ruler

Pencil Sharpener

Planner (provided by school)

Additional Pens/pencils (in case of loss of breakage) x3

Highlighter

Colored Pencils

From September 2024, equipment will be checked daily by tutors and student support officers, and it will be the expectation that all of the essential items of equipment as listed above are brought to school by students every day.

If you are concerned that you will be unable to provide this equipment for your child, please contact charlotte.lake@consiium-at.com / craig.fox@consilium-at.com, and we can discuss alternative arrangements.

In order to further support our pupils and their families, we are in the process of developing and setting up a school shop, that will stock both essential and desirable items of equipment. Further information regarding this, will be shared in coming weeks.
