Clubs, Activities and Enrichment

At Armthorpe Academy, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. Enrichment is an important part of our school culture and plays a vital role in helping students discover new interests, develop their talents, build confidence and create positive relationships with others.

We offer a wide and varied programme of super-curricular and extracurricular opportunities, giving every student the chance to get involved in something that interests and inspires them. Opportunities take place throughout the school day as well as after school, with activities ranging from academic and creative pursuits to sport, performance, hobbies and wider personal development.

Participation in our enrichment programme continues to grow year on year, and we strongly encourage all students to make the most of the opportunities available to them. Whether developing an existing passion or trying something completely new, there is something for everyone.

We also value student voice and encourage students to share their ideas for new clubs and activities. If there is something you would like to see offered at Armthorpe Academy, please speak to Mrs Fox, our Assistant principal for personal development here at the academy.

Our enrichment programme is reviewed and updated each half term, ensuring that we continue to provide a broad range of opportunities and that as many students as possible can participate.

Enrichment is a key part of life at Armthorpe Academy - helping our students to flourish, discover their potential and make memories beyond the classroom.
